Top 10 Toys for the Holidays ranked by BMO Bank of Montreal analyst

The news releases issued by major chartered banks tends to be fairly plain — a recitation of facts or the identification of trends that will help us sort through the maze called the financial world.

But every now and then, they come up with something a bit different. So, we’re going to highlight that change of pace.

This one comes from the BMO Bank of Montreal capital markets division, the arm that follows stocks and bonds. Among those who work in this sector are analysts who dig evaluate how businesses trading on stock exchanges are doing.

One group of companies assigned an analyst is toy makers.

So, the bank’s toy company analyst, Gerrick Johnson, has just issued his ranking of the Top 10 Toys for the Holidays.

After making a list and checking it twice, he projects the number one toy this year will be the Magic Mixies Crystal ball — complete with magic wand.

But it is number two that is sure to turn heads — or noses. It is the Minions Fart and Fire Blaster, featuring a range of farting sounds and even includes a scent spray.
