Saskatchewan is centre stage this week as it once again hosts one of the world’s most important events, showcasing the best in livestock production and technology.
Canadian Western Agribition is a staple in this province’s annual list of events, highlighting the best and brightest in Canada’s livestock world, something that attracts players from around the globe as well as providing a venue for locals to be seen through the eyes of the world.
For a province that often gets overlooked in commercial circles because of its small population base, events such as Agribition remind us that we do indeed punch above our weight class in some fields. Food production is one of them and livestock production holds a critical position on that team.
Saskatchewan is World class in many things but it is not World scale in all of them. Livestock is one where we meet both classifications through our knowledge and natural advantage. And Agribition is our primary showcase for the best of the best to strut their stuff for the rest of the planet.
