Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal

Today we learn that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have fled their country – the equivalent of the populations of Regina and Saskatoon have left everything behind and are searching for safety, and thousands more will be right behind.

It is heartbreaking to watch this tragedy unfold.

Those of us who are not of Ukrainian descent, but live in Saskatchewan, have grown up with close ties to the country. Who among us has not come to believe that perogies and cabbage rolls (with rice, not meat, as Ukrainian friends have instructed) are the official cuisine of Saskatchewan weddings, buffets and family gatherings? Mary-Lynn and Kelly have been known to fight for position in buffet lines for a spoonful Ukrainian Wheat Salad.

Regardless of where our ancestors came from, all people in Saskatchewan are feeling pain for the citizens of Ukraine.

It is for that reason, and so many more, that Martin Charlton Communications will be supporting the efforts of the Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal – https://donate.redcross.ca/page/100227/donate/1?locale=en-CA.

We urge our clients, suppliers and friends to also consider donating to the Red Cross and we thank everyone for their support.
