Today marks the conclusion of Q3 for those with a fiscal year that coincides with the calendar year. It means we’re entering the fourth and final quarter of the year tomorrow. For many, it can be a bit of a wake-up call as we regain our momentum from the summer doldrums. These are the ones who feel it is a time to put your head down and push to complete this year on target.
It seems this realization is also amplified by this weekend’s snowy reminder that winter is just around the corner and not only is the year three-quarters over – and it will get harder to get weather-related things accomplished in the coming weeks but….we’re also three months from the beginning of a new decade.
The beginning of Q4 is always an important milestone for those in the business community but this year it seems just that much more poignant for the farming community who have had more than their fair share of frustrations with weather.
They’re, no doubt, wishing they actually had three months of decent conditions to get their harvest completed.
