People in this province like their brick and mortar stores. When the pandemic lockdown began to lift, we quickly returned to our local outlets for things like clothing which saw sales rise by more than 140-percent in June.
We also saw retail spending surpass pre-pandemic levels in June, putting us almost 10-percent ahead of where we were a year ago, one of the best showings in the country, as consumer confidence surged.
