Three Saskatchewan financial advisors have made the list of Canada’s Top 50 in their field.
Two perennial members of this list – Saskatoon advisors Kevin Hegedus and Todd Degelman – are on it once again. Hegedus in 38th spot and Degelman was ranked 18th on the list.
And one new Saskatchewan player – Brad Gross of Swift Current – stands in 17th place on the listing prepared by Wealth Professional magazine. The publication said Gross generated an increase in assets under management of 227 per cent which was the fastest growth rate of any of the 50 top performers across the nation.
Hegedus, who founded PWM Private Wealth Counsel in Saskatoon, has overseen his firm’s growth of assets under management now exceeding more than half a billion dollars while Degelman at Degelman Pruden Group working through Wellington-Altus Private Wealth has now ranked in the upper half of the Top 50 list for four years in a row.
Saskatchewan’s population base is roughly three per cent of the national total so placing three in the top 50 is roughly double what you’d expect on a per capita basis.
